This Privacy Policy explains how Valipage ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use valipage.io (the "Service").
Valipage is operated by Petipois, a sole trader based in France. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French privacy laws.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, authentication is handled by Clerk. We receive basic account information such as:
- Email address
- Authentication identifier
Project information
We store the information you create while using Valipage, including:
- Project names
- Landing page content
- Signup emails
Signup information
When visitors join one of your waitlists, we store:
- Email address
- Date and time of signup
- The project the signup belongs to
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Authenticate your account
- Create and host waitlist pages
- Store signup data
- Email CSV exports after the retention period
- Process payments
- Improve and secure the Service
3. The 30-day signup retention policy
Valipage is designed around automatic data minimisation.
- Email addresses collected through your waitlist pages are stored for 30 days.
- After 30 days, we automatically send a CSV export of those signups to the email address associated with your account.
- Once the export has been generated, the signup data is permanently deleted from our systems.
- Deleted signup data cannot be recovered.
You are responsible for securely storing exported CSV files and for complying with applicable privacy laws once you receive them.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under the GDPR, we process personal information because it is:
- Necessary to provide the Service you requested
- Necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations
- Necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service
- Required to comply with legal obligations where applicable
5. Third-party services
We rely on trusted service providers, including:
- Clerk (authentication)
- Stripe (payments)
- Appwrite (database and storage)
- Resend (transactional emails)
These providers process personal information only as necessary to perform their services.
6. Cookies
Valipage uses essential cookies required for authentication and normal operation of the Service. We may also use limited analytics to improve performance.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Restrict certain processing
- Object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your personal data
